OK.... So I guess I better do my annual update on this thing..hahaha..

San Diego

Rotations are going well. I just finished my 1st one last friday and started my ambulatory care rotations this week. Amcare is pretty cool more interesting than my last one..eeewww.. So, I'm doing renal management right now and  i went to a dialysis clinic to round with the nephrologist doctor today. Its kinda weird to see all those patients hooked up to a dialysis machine. Some of the patients have really big veins on their arms for the dialysis access. It looks really weird. I don't ever want to be on dialysis. First of all they can't drink too much b/c they literaly can't produce urine = they dont pee = no drinking. Can you imagine they can only drink 1.5 liters of fluid a day. That's like 2 bottles of small water. And to top that they have a strict diet. eeww.. I can't do it. That's too hard. I give those people props for being so good. But of course not everybody is good about it and they get a lecture from the MD.

Anyways...other than my rotations SD has been really fun! My roomies and I go to every CE dinners we can get a hold of. Hey why not good free food at fancy resturants at the pharmacuetical company's expense. Oh and since we didn't have spring break we had our little sping break weekend by going down to Rosarito for some fun. That place is ok. I would not swim there since the horse pooo on the beach. YUCK! But overall its a cool place to party since its only 45min from our place. Oh we also went to Puerto Nuevo for some yummy lobster. I've heared a lot about this lobster town and the lobster is pretty cheap and really good. I totaly recommend it.

Well gotta do some reading for tomorrow so I won't look dumb when my preceptor quizes me.

AAAaagghhh!!! Oncology is soo hard! I wish this is over already. I'm physically and mentaly drained! It's ok i'm done tomorrow (i hope) Whew! I'm ready for my christmas break already. HHmm.. all this hard work! I think i deserve a treat... 

San Diego here i come!

So i'm going to SD for my clinical rotations on feb. Wow time flies huh? It seems just like yesterday that i started school and now i'm going to rotations soon. Crazy! I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I'm scared that i won't be able to answer my preceptor's questions... I better review all my stuff before i go so i won't look so stupid..hehe...

Christmas shopping!

What's that? hahaha..i've been so busy with school that i haven't done all the shopping i had to do and the worst part is going to the mall. I hate it! The crowd, the chaos, the parking (its more like no parking)! aarrr!! Its frustrating. But its ok because it wouldn't feel like Christmas without it.. 

Wow, its been sooooo long since my last post that i totaly forgot how do add a new post! haha...i'm sucha dork! I'm really bored at work right now so hey why not update this thing. So much has happened since my last post.

Summer:  Many fun trips!

I went to Hawaii w/ my sis Gracie, and friends. I swear i'll never get tired of hawaii. It's soooo beautiful there. I think next time around i want to go to Maui! I want to go whale watching and hike to the waterfall and swim. That would be awesome! And i heared they have spectacular sunsets!! aaahh.... next time.

I was in a summer intership program during the summer. It was pretty cool. I dont know where all my $$ went but its ok. To end the summer I went w/ Aurea to visit my good friend who's as looney as me.. Kat ko! She's the greatest! She's living her life in NYC doing crazy newyorker things. NYC was fun. Too bad it rained the whole time. Its crazy, those sewers actually blows smoke. Gross..but i thought that's only in the movies! hahha yeah i'm fascinated by stupid things. Lots of weird stories from NY esp. the Dunkin Donuts experience haha...well that's the summer. Looking foward for next summer.
